It seems like no massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a fantasy world with elves, dragons, et al can escape the stigma of being called a “WoW clone.” Say what you will about originality, homage, and the old cliché about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery — any MMORPG in the post-WoW world has a burden to prove to players that it’s not a clone.
